2020 will be remembered for several things

2020 will, I'm sure, be remembered for the re-election of Donald Trump for a second term. Trump has been the Deep State Buster he promised he would be. He has done his dead-level best to keep the promises he made during his campaign including tax breaks, immigration and reigning in the out of control DC bureaucratic nonsense that has been building for so long.

China Flu

Covid-19 will play a leading role in the memoirs of 2020 should they ever be written. It came in late 2019 but wasn't  acknowledged fully until February, then finally in March did we begin to try to mitigate it's effects. It was all for naught. The virus spread easily into our country and wreaked havoc with the elderly and sick. For most of the population, however, it was not unlike the common cold viruses we've experienced in recent years. For the bulk of the population, there was no effect but that didn't keep our "leaders" from over-reacting.

Stay at home orders and mask-wearing mandates became the norm. Visceral outcry from the populace urged the leaders to relax the over-reaching social restrictions in June only to see a return spike in cases and the re-levelling of these social sanctions soon after. Bars and restaurants were re-closed. It is an economic disaster with small, medium and large companies finding themselves in a death-spiral with no business being done and no revenues for going on 3 months in a row. The airline industry is seemingly teetering on the verge of collapse.

George Floyd Protests

Far more long term in it's damage and deadly effect is the Black Lives Matter protests that seemed to flare up due to the killing of a black man in Minneapolis at the hands of police. Riots erupted in major cities across America, mostly in Democratic controlled places like Minneapolis,  New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston where protesters took to the streets to protests the killing of George Floyd. These protests soon turned into looting and riots when Marxist revolutionaries joined the ranks of the protesters and led the mobs into shopping centers, and business districts where they caused chaos and looting which inflicted severe damage to buildings and infrastructure.

Clearly, the protesters, mostly black, were not violent at first. There is the phenomenon of the looting of retail stores like Target and Best Buy in the neighborhoods of color when these riots break out. It is distressing to see these scores of young people taking advantage of the lawless environment but via CCTV many now face charges for their actions.

Black Lives Matter is destroying our country

There is a darker more malevolent force running among these protesters which they did not sign up for and have not acknowledged as being in league with or in partnership with. That is the anarchist agitations of the BLM gangs who exploit the black protesters to further their Marxist agenda.

Black Lives Matter isn't a philanthropic organization. They claim to be furthering the rights of blacks and helping communities of color but their donations go through a front group which is closely aligned with the Democratic National Comittee. Recently Black Lives Matter Global Initiative has begun to debunk the claim that funding meant for black causes has flowed into DNC coffers instead.

Below is a link to a story outlining the lies and hate which is at the true core of BLM, which has taken over the movement of Black Americans who want racism in our country's law enforcement community to end.
